Program Details

About Department

The department offers Undergraduate (UG), Post Graduate (PG), degree program that provide students with the knowledge and tools they need to succeed in the Electronics and Communication Engineering.


The intake UG program was 30 initially and subsequently it has been increase to 45, 60 and now 120. The PG program with an intake of 18 has been started since 2010.

The department is having competent and experience faculties in the field of electronics and communication engineering and laboratories to cover all the subjects of curriculum.

    This lab have Following Equipment's

       (3) Function Generators
      (4) Logic Analyzer & Pattern Generator


This Lab Have Following Instruments

                 (1) Basic DSP Trainer Kits (TMS320C6713)

                 (2) Advance DSP Trainer Kits (TMS320C6748)

  • Above kits are very useful for processing of various signals

•This Lab Have Following Instruments
    (1) Satellite Transmitter kit
    (2) Satellite Transponder
    (3) Satellite Receiver Kit

•With above trans-receiver kits we can able to set up model of satellite system in our laboratory

•This Lab Have Following Instruments

    (1) CDMA Trainer kit

    (2) Data Communication Trainer kit

    (3) GPS Trainer Kit

    (4) GSM Evaluation kit

    (5) Mobile Phone Trainer kit

    (6) Wireless LAN/WAN Trainer kit

•  With above kits we have enhanced our communication lab.
•   Practicals of various wireless communication is performed using 
    above kits.
•This Lab Have Following Instruments

    (1) Antenna Trainer kit

    (2) Micro strip Antenna Trainer kit

    (3) Microwave Test Bench

  •         In this lab we have all types of antennas  which are currently utilized in communication field.
  •         Microwave signals(band C-4/6GHz)  generation , transmission and  reception is possible in this lab
•This Lab Have Following Instruments

    (1) Nexus 4 artix 7 FPGA Board

    (2) Xilinx Vivado Design Suite

    (3) Xilinx Zynq 7000 Board

     (4) Z Board

This is very advance lab newly design under TEQIP-II

Designing and Simulation of various digital systems like gate, transistors, comparators etc..

This Lab Have Following Instruments

    (1) Optical Fiber Trainer kit

    (2) WDM Trainer kit

    (3) Optical Power meter

    (4) Optical Fiber Connectorization kit

  • Models of trans-receiver system of optical communication is created using above kits.
  • Wavelength Division Multiplexing is possible using WDM Trainer kit.
  • Joining of Two fibers is possible using connectorization kit
This Lab Have Following Instruments

    (1) Various Arduino Boards

    (2) GSM , GPS , RFID , WIFI , Zigbee ,IRDA ,    interface Boards

    (3)IOT kit

    (4) ARM7,PIC,AVR R-PI Development Boards

Above boards are very useful to students for their final year project works and dissertation work of PG students.
